It's about two people who had burdens of terrible memories. A woman who really wants to escape from their hometown and family when mother died to live her life as she wants. A man who was trapped by the nightmare since childhood and can't pull himself from the black hole. The couple lived together and tried hard to overcome their difficulties in the midst of deep fear. The lake in the novel is a place bringing the past and nowadays to meet as well as a place drawing hope back to two lives.
I have realized that even we can't forget bad things happened to life but time and some people can help us to heal that wound. Pain exits to challenge how much we really want to live. If we do,we need struggling in numerous way to bring back that life.
